Flex-Cap Inc. is an independent equipment leasing company. Founded in 2020, Flex-Cap Inc. has been supporting small, and medium businesses as well as self-employed workers by offering equipment financing solutions that are tailored to their unique situations.

JOB OBJECTIVE

Responsible for the achievement of sales and growth targets/objectives through the development of Vendor/Client relationships and programs.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Source new business within specified Credit risk criteria, target client guidelines and within standard pricing criteria.
  • Develop and present Program proposals to Vendors.
  • Meet Vendors/clients face to face (whenever possible), in order to build successful relationships, and review their business, operations, equipment and relevant financial information.
  • Negotiate with vendors/clients the terms and process of financial offerings and programs.
  • Facilitate FCI standard Credit Application Form ensuring complete and accurate submissions including relevant financial documentation, e.g., financial statements, bank statements, business overview, projections, etc.
  • Liaise with vendors/clients regarding the progress and decisions on applications.
  • Manage ongoing Vendor programs.
  • Gather and report on market trends within the industry.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND PROFILE

  • Minimum 3 years Sales experience preferably in leasing industry.
  • Post-secondary education ideally with an emphasis on business and finance would be an asset.
  • Knowledge of Leasing industry and contract structure would be an asset.
  • Strong time management and organization skills are essential.
  • Strong customer service focus.
  • Results oriented having a disciplined approach to prospecting.
  • Able to build and maintain relationships with a variety of clients.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, problem solving, and presentation skills.
  • Confident, Enthusiastic, Self-Starter.
  • Bilingualism English, French is an asset.
  • Reliable vehicle, Insurance, and valid driver’s license.

ABOUT THE COMPANY

JOB OBJECTIVE

The Credit Analyst is responsible to provide credit decisions or recommendations that are aligned to Flex-Cap’s internal credit policies and risk tolerance. They will work with our Sales Reps, vendors and brokers to provide solutions for their customers. Specifically;

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Analyze and render decisions on leasing applications within assigned credit authority and provide recommendations for applications over assigned limit.
  • Manage credit priorities and applications within acceptable turnaround time.
  • Support documentation /lease preparation as required.
  • Ensure compliance with company credit policies and procedures.
  • Support the collection of past due accounts as required.
  • Perform vendor reviews.
  • Interact with senior leadership team.
  • Proactively identify areas requiring process improvements and take ownership for proposing creative solutions.
  • Understand market changes and remain abreast of industry issues.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in commercial underwriting and risk management in equipment finance and leasing and commercial lending.
  • In depth understanding of commercial credit bureaus, consumer credit bureaus and PayNet reports.
  • Sound knowledge of financial statements, cash flow analysis, commercial lending security documentation.
  • A passion for providing top quality customer service both internally and externally.
  • Be able to develop winning solutions for both the client and the Company through innovative ideas.
  • Able to prioritize and plan workload, and to meet deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written.
  • Works well in a team environment.
  • Ability to work independently and remotely, with minimal supervision.
  • Bilingualism, English, French an asset.
  • Excellent knowledge of Office suite applications (especially Excel and Power BI).

SALARY

Salary commensurate with experience within a range of $60,000 to $80,000.

JOB OBJECTIVES:

A Customer Service & Collections Representative will be a key role in our customer satisfaction. In this role, you will act as a liaison, provide product/services information, answer questions, and resolve any emerging problems that our customers may face with accuracy and efficiency. You will also be responsible for working with our clients to ensure their payments are up to date. At times, you will contact debtors to negotiate payments as well as recommending any payment relief situations. Redirect queries internally as required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage incoming phone calls and emails
  • Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction
  • Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication
  • Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools
  • Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives; follow up to ensure resolution
  • Follow up on accounts in arrears; work with clients to recover owed funds
  • Overcome stall tactics, objections & suggest sources of funds for debt repayment
  • Confirm existing clients’ information and follow up on payment agreements
  • Recommend accounts for recovery actions
  • Communicate with bailiffs, outside collection agencies and lawyers as required
  • Follow up on expiring insurance certificates
  • Send out welcome packages to new customers
  • Send out end of lease documentations to customers
  • Update client records as required based on interactions,
  • Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies (especially when legal action is required)
  • Keep Management informed of all collection activities
  • Take the extra mile to engage customers

REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS

  • University degree is preferred
  • Proven customer support experience or experience as a Client Service Representative
  • Strong communication & negotiation skills (both oral and written)
  • Ability to multi-task, manage time effectively & prioritize tasks
  • Good knowledge of MS Office and databases
  • Fluently bilingual; English and French
  • Team player who enjoys working in a fast-paced dynamic environment
  • Experience as a collector in the financial sector is an asset
  • Knowledge of relevant legal requirements is an asset
  • Knowledge of leasing industry is an asset

REPORTING TO:

Operations Manager

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Be customer centric and provide our customers, partners, colleagues an exceptional experience
  • Ensure requests for documentation are actioned on a timely basis
  • Be accountable for the accuracy of funding packages
  • Must ensure that all lease and loan security documentation is accurately completed, consistent with credit requirements
  • Ensure proper security registration is in place so that all transactions are properly executed at the client level, and are enforceable and binding
  • Monitor the accurate and timely processing of new lease fundings
  • Follow up on deficiencies within prescribed deadlines
  • Communicate with insurance brokers to obtain insurance certificates/renewals
  • Prepare and execute documentation as it pertains to lease transfers , lease take-overs and other types of non-standard lease transactions.
  • Liaise with funding and all other departments, as required.
  • Respond to all enquiries on funding status.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 3 years direct experience with equipment leasing
  • Knowledge of T-value pricing, accounting knowledge strong asset
  • Strong knowledge of the Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to manage in a fast paced environment
  • A passion for customer service
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Able to work in a team environment
  • Bilingualism French/English written and oral

SALARY

$45,000 to $55,000.
